Little experience necessary, easy to learn warm ups, fun combinations, as well as group choreography; teaching from a perspective that dance is often a metaphor for life, that each student’s knowledge of life and dance can (and will) be used in the class, and that dance has the power to communicate things we often can’t communicate in our daily lives and that’s what often brings us to class.

Lisa Yaconelli graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a BFA degree and has continued her education through performing her own choreography in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Athens. She has mostly taught children’s creative movement, but has also taught co-operative dance classes throughout the years. She was a founding member of the Warehouse Collective; a collective of dancers, writers, poets who performed in Athens.
