Beginners Hoop Dancing
In this course students will be introduced to central elements of hoop dancing. Starting out with basic waist hooping, we will progress to on body hooping and off body hooping maneuvers, emphasizing self expression through dance. An aerobic exercise that increases flexibility and strength, hula hooping is a fun and creative way to lose weight and gain body awareness. All fitness levels and body types are welcome in this course. Hoops will be provided during the class and available for purchase for home use.
Every 1st & 3rd Sunday at 2 pm. $12 Drop-in or Class Cards accepted.

” I started hooping around 2006 and have been hooping ever since. I started performing 2 years ago in solo shows and with Kat Kennedy exploring partner acts. We perform with our own company Bangerang Hooping which offers handmade hoops for purchase as well as performances for a variety of occasions.”
