Morning Yoga

Cost 80$ for 2 classes a week for 4 week session; $12 per class

This class is designed for individuals to help counter the effects of stress everyday life takes on both our body and our mind. Morning Yoga is appropriate for all levels, those new to yoga, and seasoned practitioners. We will examine the connection between the body and the mind while at the same time increasing our movement and flexibility. Topics will include hatha yoga postures, relaxing meditation, and breathe work. If you have always wanted to experience the many benefits yoga can bring to your life, this class is for you.

Bio:
Bill Cottrell, RYT is a Detroit Native and new to Athens. He holds a B.A. in Public Policy and Film Studies from Michigan State University and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Bill teaches a gentle yoga class for all levels of practitioners. He has studied and attended workshops under prominent yoga teachers such as Sharon Gannon, David Life, Ana Forrest, Alan Finger, and Paul Grilley. He believes that anyone regardless of their background can find a place for yoga in their life and can develop a deeper connection between the mind and body. Currently Bill teaches yoga at UGA-Ramsey Student Center and Floorspace and enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and traveling.
