Bellydance Basics with Jaidra: Tuesdays 6-7pm

Each class will begin with a short series of exercises designed to build strength and flexibility. Classes will progress through body isolations and dance steps common to many styles of Bellydance. Focus will be placed on proper posture and body alignment as well as fluidity of movement.
Short, simple choreographies will be taught as examples of how isolations and simple steps can used to build a vocabulary of dance.
Bellydance is a beautiful art form that encourages joy and personal growth. I try to bring this philosophy to each class; varying dance movement drills with improvisational dancing and veil work.

Cost is 12$ drop in or $60 for six classes. This is an ongoing class, but drop ins are welcome.
