This class includes Indian Wrestling calisthenics for strength and flexibility that are related to Yoga, Joint Flexibility Chi Gong for health and mobility, and focuses on Master Chen Pan Ling's "Thunderstick" cane/walking stick routine. This set has its roots in practical Shaolin Saber techniques, but has been modified to be a more non-violent means of self protection with the common stick or cane. A very beautiful and invigorating form that can be enjoyed by young people and seniors alike [and everyone in between!]. Class includes partner work in self defense applications as well as Chi Gong Health cool down.
